PANEER BUTTER MASALA Ingredients: 200 to 250 grams paneer 1 tbsp oil 1 cup onions cubed, 3 medium (optional) 1 1/2 cup tomatoes finely chopped (3 large) Salt as needed 10 to 12 cashew nuts 1 1/2 tbsp butter 3/4 tsp sugar (optional) 1 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste ( or 3/4 tsp ginger paste) 1/2 tsp kasuri methi or dried fenugreek leaves)  3 tbsp cream ( or 6 to 8 cashews more) 2 tbsp coriander leaves for gatnish. SPICES FOR PANEER BUTTER MASALA 1 bay leaf or tej patta 1 cinnamon 3 green cardamons 2 to 3 cloves 3/4 to 1 tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1/2 to 3/4 tsp red chilli powder.  How to make the recipe Fry onions in oil till transparent. Veg Biryani Ingredients: 1  and 1/2 cup basmati rice (soaked for atleast 10 mins)  1 potato cubed 1 carrot chopped 1/4 cup green peas 1 medium onion sliced 1 tblsp ginger garlic paste Handful mint leaves Handful coriander leaves 1 or 2 green chillies (slit) 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional) 1 1/2 to 2 tsp biryani masala powder (adjust to suit your taste) 2 1/2 cup water or thin coconut milk 2 to 3 tbsp oil 10 fried cashews or fried capsicum for garnish.   Dry spices 1 bay leaf 4 green cardamoms 1 star anise 2 inch cinnamon 6 cloves 1/2 tsp shahi jeera Preparation for veg biryani - Soak rice for atleast 10 minutes. FISH CAKE Ingredients: 2 green chillies Salt to taste 4 cloves garlic 400 grams fish 2 tblsp refined flour 1 inch ginge 2 tblsp oil 1 egg beaten 1 medium onion 2 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp garam masala powder 3-4 potatoes Oil for frying 1/2 cup white bread crumbs 1/2 tsp turmeric powder A few sprigs coriander leaves. Direction: Boil, take off and mash the potatoes. Wash the fish thoroughly. Take off the skin and cut into fine pieces. Take off and finely cut the onion. Wash, take off and grate the ginger. Take off and crush the garlic. Wash, take off the stem, de-seed and cut the green chillies finely. Clean, wash and finely cut the coriander leaves.    Cauliflower Pulav Ingredients: 2 cup cauliflower florets 6 green cardamoms 2 inch cinnamo 4 tblsp green peas 1 tsp cinnamon powder 2 tblsp coriander leaves 1 cup basmati rice 6 cloves 4 tblsp sweet corn 1 medium onion 1 tsp coriander powder Salt to taste 1/2 tsp clove powder 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 3 tblsp coconut milk 4 tblsp ghee 2 cup warm water. Direction: Clean, wash and soak the rice for about thirty minutes. Remove and set aside. Take off finely slice the onion. Clean , wash and finely cut the coriander leaves. Heat the ghee in a thick bottomed pot over a medium heat. Mix in cardamoms, cloves and cinnamon. Stir fry for half a minute. Mix in the cut onion and fry until lightly browned stirring frequently. Mix in coriander powder and fry for one minute. Mix in cinnamon powder, clove powder and red chilli powder and fry for half a minute.
